Location: Pad 13 Studios, Tallahassee, FL Practice: Vipassana Comments: "This here's the Pad 13 Studio...named after a Hank Madison space song and home to various music projects including Stuart Davis' Bell record and the upcoming Screaming Witness record. Fittingly enough, my sittin' pad resides here and I go cheeks down every morning for an hour. This strange behavior has been happening here for over two years now. NOTE: I have yet to reach enlightenment, much less the Gate to a Noble Path. Perhaps it's because there's a BRIGHT ORANGE WALL and all of these LOUD guitar amps around (which explains the blurry pic)...I dare Clarus to make some kind of kick ass subtle energy Wall-Clock of Rock to balance this shit out. Pad 13 could be a beta site, right? Anyway, my practice pretty much follows the Goenka school: breath, vipassana, and then metta (lovingkindness). I've written letters to suggest 'sex fantasy time' as an additional practice but have yet to hear back. I'm really good at that one...no shit."
